Hale/Hopp Wedding

About one month before my due date these beautiful pics were created by Jonathan Frey on a fabulous spring morning. Trees were blooming all over town and The Harrison Center and Redeemer Presbyterian Church were celebrating with some of our own. Lots of artists came together to make this day special. Quincy Owens created their hanging sculpture, the font of the day was by the groom Matt Hale and the cut outs for the table by Dick Lutin. I got the privilege to use some of my favorite flowers to make simple yet sweet floral details. It was a morning wedding so the Longs Donut tower was a hit along side of the candy bar. Mills Catering is one of my faves and the brunch was fabulous as always. This building is such an amazing place to work and create. I am so thankful for the great couples who make it even better. Congrats Tara and Matt!

What a beautiful end to a fabulous year, We had a few different tea sets and some random cups and saucers to start with. In the end it was a funky fresh approach to a tea party.

Well I now have the first wedding of the season under my belt, it was pretty wild and fun, unfortunately my camera died just before they rode away on the tandom bike through a spray of birdseed. I hope to find a copy of that and post it later. They chose a combo of browns for thier colors with alot of pink accents. It was a scetchy as far as weather was concerned but it all worked out in the end. I learned a lesson or two on avoiding procrastination, but I do work well under pressure! Congratulations to the bride and groom may your life together be truly blessed.

Wedding jewlery for the attendants is a great way to coordinate the colors of the wedding and give a great gift! I love making my beads to match the colors and personality of brides and their bridesmaids to make their day special.

I loved making Kates jewels for her special day!! The vintage beads mixed with the gentle colors and whites were perfect for her dress. Simple yet elegant.

Paper chains

This was a brilliant idea realized! Thanks Jen, We had a bunch of
friends help with chains and we hung them in Gallery 2 in a random way!!
Wait for the rehanging of them in March in Hank and Dolly's! They brought a lot of
interest to the room decorated for a baby shower.

lighting is so fun!

I love lighting, it probably doesn't hurt that the spaces I generally use are lack lustre when it comes to options in lighting. So I have learned to be creative. Whether candles, lanterns and strung lights on bamboo or lighted excercise balls it all makes an impact on an otherwise plain space. This is not for the vertically challenged or people with fear of heights, tall ladders or a good arm is necessary!
